He started his own television Production Company in 2014,[4] by producing his own show The World’s Most Expensive Cars. In 2015, Anstead hosted BBC Two's live show Building Cars Live, alongside James May and Kate Humble.[3]
In March 2017 it was announced that Anstead would be replacing Edd China on the Discovery Channel show Wheeler Dealers.[3]
